PRESENTING MUSE MAISON, A LUXURY HAUTE COUTURE AND PRET A PORTER CONCEPT BASED IN DUBAI

The label, Muse Maison, was launched close to a year ago and has created a niche for itself in the exciting fashion world of Dubai.
Muse Maison is a luxury brand created by Beenish Mahmood and Ayesha Munir. It is a UAE based fashion house that has an extensive background in both haute couture and pret a porter.
For each garment concept they utilize thier extensive knowledge of haute couture and have a design philosophy that lends itself to innovative fashion. They have an aesthetic sense hat guides the designers into using contrasting textures that are tactile and which blend together both organically and sensuously. The resilience and durability of leather blends harmoniously with jersey. The softness of silk , the rough beauty of canvas and delicate cotton net is set against rigid metal. The end product is strong, yet soft - structured, yet fluid - dramatic, yet composed. Playing against and complimenting each other, all the components come together to create an unusual garment which is cutting edge and immaculately crafted to Global couture standards.
The Lastest Collection
The latest collection by Muse Maison, named "A Desert Story" (pictured above), is dedicated to the desert landscape and the unpredictable sea.
With colour palettes of warm and cool shades, the rose of a dawn sky over the desert, the fiery gold of the silken sands under the sun at its zenith. The blinding white as its light reflects off of shimmering powder blue water. The black of a moonless night . The sequined shimmer of a mirage through the haze soft cotton net, or the undulating flames of a campfire on a cold night. Soft nude shades sit next to camouflage canvas signifying things hidden and perceived.
The muse is a child of the East. She is feminine yet powerful enough to embody the environment that surrounds her. A woman who is unafraid to express herself in anyway she wishes. We have used classic corsets and bone to ensure the garment will accentuate curve and shape.
