This November, Frankie’s Italian Bar & Grill welcomes new live performances from Cassandra Chong, enhancing the atmosphere to delight of guests enjoying Saturday lunch, as well as those visiting the hotspot on Sunday and Monday evenings. Cassandra Chong is a renowned pianist and songwriter, known for her ability to enthral audiences with her soulful melodies.

Cassandra’s performances can be best described as filled with raw emotion, mixing jazz with her formal classical training. A self-taught vocalist, she has been playing the piano since she was seven and shot to fame in 2012 with ‘Dream to be Free’, which had over 10,000 views on YouTube. Prior to making her way to the UAE over a year ago, Cassandra was based in Malaysia and Italy.

With the addition of live music, the atmosphere is for relaxation with friends and family on a Saturday afternoon.

The latest Saturday Lunch sharing menu has been designed as a sophisticated yet laid back alternative to conventional Dubai brunches, offering an assortment of Frankie’s favourites in a series of small courses served in quick succession. Chef Fabio Nompleggio has created the perfect traditional and typically Italian menu that clearly features Frankie’s signature touch. Smaller courses such as salads and pastas are served to share, while the main course can be selected individually, with highlights including Tonno su pappa al pomodoro, Tagliata di manzo al pepe con ragú di funghi and Agnello con broccoletti e burrata. All dishes are crafted using the best seasonal products, therefore offerings on the menu will change on a weekly basis to ensure that only the freshest ingredients are prepared.

The Italian Sharing Lunch is priced at AED 230 per person

Available from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, every Friday and Saturday
