This year Chanel provided us with three must have collections, Ready-To-Wear Spring/Summer 2015, Pre Summer 2015 and Pre-Fall 2015. All providing must have trends from clashing prints, metallic embroidery and signature tweed.
The Ready-To-Wear collection is a personal favourite. Karl Lagerfeld decided to refresh the heritage look this season, adding splashes of colour from pink to yellow recreating the classic tweed. Managing to maintain the staple look Chanel customers visit this fashion house for. However, every suit was just as stylish as the other, paired with flared trousers and the classic sixties mini. Chanel’s floral prints and the Spring/Summer seasons pair up perfectly, but this year has new blooms to lust after. Lagerfeld has opted for bold, rich colours and reworks the trend fashioning ultra-bright bouquets. Another key look this season are mosaic cocktail dresses providing an edgy, urban look for Chanel’s style savvy customers. This looks accessorized with chunky bangles, colour popping bags, waistband belts and trusty flats, favoring practicality. If you’re struggling for inspiration this season look no further than the nautical trend. The classic pinstripe can be dressed up or down for any occasion, especially if you opt for Chanel’s two piece suit.

Karl Lagerfeld didn’t disappoint in the Pre Summer collection, inspired by romance and modern orient. The 83 piece collection features a range of gauzy fabrics, eastern patterns and metallic embroidery providing an almost effortless Summer style. The wardrobe staples recommended to buy from Chanel are tunics (starting from £1,225), harem pants (£1,065) and trench coats (price available on request via Chanel website) to work the ultimate eastern trend. Lagerfeld has opted for a minimal colour pallet ranging from sand to tile blue, reinforcing the eastern feel the collection incorporates. Although the signature tweed manages to make its way down the catwalk again this season, some may prefer the raw edged patchwork tweed. If prints and patterns are something you can’t resist, then Chanel’s Pre Summer 2015 collection is for you. Featuring 11th and 12th century Arabic paving stones, motifs and sequined skylines. The entire range is accessorized with Aladdin style slippers, the classic Chanel handbag and pearl necklaces.

Towards the latter part of the year, Chanel brings the Pre Fall 2015 collection. Each look that marched down the runway was individual works of art created with precision and passion. The collection featured 8 key colours including red and ivory, instantly evoking a traditional theme inspired by historical costumes. Linking to heritage, an ideology often associated with Chanel. Lagerfeld seemed to focus his collection on outwear and eveningwear opting for long sweeping coats, sweater dresses and turtlenecks. This collection in particularly incorporates a wide range of materials from lace to suede, printed with floral patterns or birds. The item to own this season is the tiered satin dress, trimmed with fine lace.
