Meet the who’s who of the Beverage community! Never has the question "Would you like anything to drink?’’ been more relevant than today.
Gone are the calorie filled carbonated drink options considered sacrosanct once upon a time, they have been replaced by the new army of cold, pressed, green juices and cocktails with unpronounceable labels. Let’s educate ourselves, shall we?

The “GO GREEN BRIGADE”. Vocabulary must include: Gluten free, raw, organic and naturally sugar free.
Skim and low fat are very 2012, if you want to join this hip bunch, almond and soy rule the roost, its needless to stay these healthy options feature on our list of the most fashionable drinks.
Cross Fit patrons and modern day yogi’s will be often seen carrying around their favourite beverage in style, read rock hard abs and perfect hoodies, to look effortless and oh so cool. Don’t be fooled though, these drinks are hard to come by, even in the pro health frenzy the world is slipping into and all that goodness in a bottle comes with its own heavy price tag.
Here’s a guide to where you could score some low calorie points:
In Mumbai head out to the Yoga House in Bandra (the Beverly Hills of India) to get custom made concoctions.

The Booster Juice at Yoga House is just what you need during this season of cold and flus. Contains beetroot, ginger and more.
Not to be left behind is the capital of the “Juice Cleanse”, Los Angeles, where the craze has even extended to Charcoal infused combinations:
A local juicery, Juice Served Here, puts the carbon in their lemonade, calling the blend #19. Purported to help with hangover recovery, this refreshment combines alkaline water, lemon, raw sugar cane juice and Montmorillonite clay (found in caves, absorbs heavy metals) with the coal. Together, this blend is said to soak up whatever toxins may be in your stomach, reducing the ill effects of the night before.
