The key to creating a flirty bedroom is to make the bed the centrepiece. This can be easily achieved through a statement headboard, a canopy bed or a grand four-poster. Soft lighting allows the room to become a tranquil space allowing the light to pick up on different textures, and remember to keep colours muted.
Choosing natural colours leads to a sophisticated environment, a ‘hot pink’ bedroom does not scream sensuality. Fabric choice is also very important. Personally though, I would stay away from silk and would be drawn towards details such as lace trimming, sheer fabrics and layered throws.
