LIPSTICK OR NOT?

We've debated long and hard at The Snobby Runway beauty desk whether or not to wear lipstick this season and the answer was a resounding YES!
It seems that every firm wants us to wear a gorgeous red in 2015.
On Estée Lauder’s website you may see that the latest lipsticks news is shown to us in brave and beautiful colours. Of course each line has a wide variety of tones, but the website is stained by red passion. One of the most expected novelties is their new Pure Color Envy, the first sculpting lipstick that absolutely transform your lips.
Meanwhile Yves Saint Laurent presents its lipstick Rouge Pur Couture The Mats. In their own words this lipstick is “passionate, seductive, scandalous. It's ‘stretch-leather’ texture espouses and ajusts to the lips. Ensuring a matte, sensually sleek finish and color fidelity for 6 hours”. It definitely sounds tempting ... You can find it in eight different tones to put your personal touch into this thrilling complement.
Mate color certainly always gives a touch of elegance and with its six hours of duration (according to the firm) it can become the indispensable ally for a working day or for that party that never ends.
If you prefer instead a shiny lipstick, Clarins gives you the answer. The new Joli Rouge Brilliant Perfect Shine Lipstick Speer can be the new essential part of your wardrobe. It also has moisturizing properties caring for the texture of your lips by adding volume instantly. Another feature that makes it unique is the glossy and not sticky effect on your lips. Guerlain offers for 2015 a passion collection with a trendy fuchsia wink. This color becomes its ally along with a wide range of red colors. We already have the tools, now we need the art. Joaquín Sancha, Spanish makeup artist and owner of Sancha Cosmetics and Color, gives us some guidelines to help us with this new rouge year.
“The red lip is the eternal elegance. It always looks fashionable and it makes feel good every woman” He said. One trick he recommended to us to hold the lipstick more hours is to apply it after makeup. Besides if we use a same color profiler as the bar it will help, plus give us the exact shape we want for our lips. After filled them with lipstick, better using a brush, we need to put on the corners of the mouth a napkin and remove a bit of the bar doing like kissing.
